books i really enjoy 
Crying in H Mart - Michelle Zauner
this book made me cry in the sheer honesty michelle depicts her relationship with her mother. it reminds me of myself, and my mother. though both are very different and come from very distinct cultures, the way me and michelle were raised and the connections we formed with our mothers are so similar. it scared me when i first read the middle, through to the end, because it made me have to contend with the reality that i too will one day be crying for my mother, begging for her to wake up. truly an amazing book, but absolutely not for casual enjoyment.
